AMI CUSTOMS
He needs to be checking for voltages with the truck running!!!! And it is night so if headlights are on with truck off you will see some lower voltages. Common sense people. AMI CUSTOMS
Then only other thing it could be is ground. I would try removing the amp and hooking it up directly to a battery positive to amp 12v+ and ground to battery negative with some short pieces of correct gauge sized wire for your amps and then jumper the remote again to see if they come on and stay on. Okay that is what ill do tomorrow. If I just unhooked the remote on the mids and highs amp and left the sub amp remote alone and then jumped it from pos to remote the highs amp doesnt come on but the sub amp does and it will stay on but i get no bass out of it. AMI CUSTOMS
I would suggest at this point start isolating issues, that is the only way to get anywhere at this point. Start with making sure the amps come on and say on by hooking them up one at a time directly to a battery, then add RCA to that and see if they make any sound. That will help with if it is a wiring issue, amp issue or head unit issue, cuz at this point it is all over the place. AMI CUSTOMS
I know man, try running down a ground loop when you got multiple sub amps and multiple alternators and multiple runs of cable, starts to be a major pita in a hurry. Twostrokeking
I went out there again and messed with it. What I did was unhook the remote from the sub amp and then jumped the mids and highs amp, the amp came on fine and played music constant with no stopping. I undid that wire and then unhooked the remote on the sub amp and did the same thing. The amp comes on but I dont get any sound out of it. Hopefully that helps some. Thanks for your help so far!
