j_black10 Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 Man that box is NICE!!!! Love those ports. But I am concerned about those Qs being in a 10cu/ft box tuned to 33hz. Mine didn't sound as good in my first 2 boxes as they do now in my current one. The first box was 11 cu tuned to 30hz, it picked up the low end good but didn't get as loud. 2nd box was 12.37cu tuned to 33hz, didn't pick up the lows as good but was way louder than my first box. My current box is alittle over 13cu tuned to 28hz and man it's way better than my first 2. Just a little in-site on my experience with the Q18s. Again, love the box bro! Get us some vids ! Again, love the box bro! Get us some vids ! Yeah the box is @ 33Hz but each sub is only seeing 5 cubes. It's dual chamber. I dropped my old woofer in and slammed it... Doesn’t pick up low notes as good as it used to but it slams on the high notes. Gets right to your ear!!! The box is allot louder then my last one for sure. Can’t wait to hear it full tilt! Forevrbumpn Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 nice looking boxes, both of them, and really clean build I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
