ToneDeaf2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 I am going to do a single 8", 10" or 12" in my wife's 2010 Ford Fusion. I've been a lurker on this site for a long time even before I signed up so I have seen builds and videos for everything. I don't make it out to shows which makes it hard for me to choose without actually hearing.+ I am also very indecisive when it comes to letting go of my hard earned money. The bottom line is to stay under $200 for the sub alone. Power will be thought out after I have found a worthy sub. This is not a VS. thread nor is it meant to insight arguing of any kind. I am only looking for input from members that have built a single sub system in a similar trunk size and discovered which one worked better.
8ight Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 What are your goals for this install? SPL, SQ, both? Max box dimensions? Ported or sealed? I'm gonna hate
CLNSHVNnDRAGGN Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 In my opinion I would go with a 12" if you're doing a single sub in a trunk car that size. As for which one, only you can decide and you should probably reword your post because right now it's a VS thread and it will get locked. If you can't get out to hear them all somewhere the next best thing to go would be to look them up on youtube and see what you can find. www.facebook.com/BILLatDivineCreationsPhoto He was taunting me. He's all like "come at me bro!" So I'm like "I'm coming at you bro!" And he's like "hey, fuck you" *chomp*. Then I killed it. I win. ^^^ you have truly taken being a lazy fuck to a new level tonight, an MRE. WOW
ToneDeaf2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Author Report Posted August 24, 2012 I'm looking for a good daily beater. No SPL comps. Just for my listening pleasure. I want to stay inside of 43" L x 14" H x 10" D
