wellington Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 Since the knobs only have the first and last number ranges, I find it a bit hard to know where to dial the knobs correctly. Can anyone help me with this? Box is tuned to 34hz These are what I currently have. Also wondeirng if bass boost actually kills subs/amps, as the guy I bought this amp from had the gain and bass boost maxed out when he demo'd his 2 DC 12's on it. And they SLAMMED 2010 HHR LT - DNX 6160 - sony xec-700 - sony xm-4040 for door mids - XM-6020 for tweets in a-pillar - saz1500d v1 - VVME RD-12 1.75 f^3 32hz guru and president of the "cheap asses trying to beat up the block with bargain bin woofers" club
audiofanaticz Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 Sure, buy an SMD DD-1 to set your gain(s), and a SMD CC-1 to set your crossovers. Than you can set your amp up, and charger your friends to do their amps and make some cash back!! http://www.wccaraudio.com/smd-dd-1-and-cc-1-combo-pack.html No real way to tell you how to set them since ever install is different. different vehicles, different radios, different amps, different subs, different speakers, different box...... So I guess turn the knobs til you think it sounds "the best"
