8ight
OK, I'll be that person. Weekly! Lmfao. Nah, I think definitely monthly but the more often, the better. Not necessarily nightly obviously but if you get around to it every month, should be fine. The batteries will live longer, happier lives if you allow them to cycle at least a few weeks or so assuming normal daily driven operation. why is that? i dont have much experience with batts and alternators just yet....gettin there though Battery memory in AGM cells. Lead acid batteries do not have such a problem, but flooded cells suck for high-rate, rapid discharge. EDIT: Now, if you can keep them topped off on a float charger or with your voltage constantly at charging level while the vehicle is on you're in good shape too! I'm gonna hate

Nightshade
The amperage draw of a 3500 watt amp is relative to the amp's efficiency. If the amp is inefficient it will have less amperage than voltage. My Sundown 3500's usually pull around 120 amps of current when they are in a full tilt burp. I hope that helps you some. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz

Nightshade
I'm only getting 120 amps because of impedence rise. I would get a lot more if I could lower the impedence rise some. For example 120 amps is my draw, where 40 volts is the voltage. Multiply the two and get 4800 watts. Then you multiply that by the amp's efficiency. This is hard to determine because most amp's are given efficiency ratings at 4 ohms. The 3500d is 88% efficient at 4 ohms so probably 70% or so at .5 ohms. Multiply 4800 by .7 and you get 3360 watts.
