soundstream15 Posted August 29, 2012 Report Share Posted August 29, 2012 I have that same head unit and i tested it with a dd-1 and mine does not clip at all, 35/35 so I turned the volume to 30 and turned the sub level control up till it clipped, it was on +12 when it clipped so it's on volume 30 with sub level at +11 you want bass at 0 as that will cause clipping. Your head unit might be the same or might clip before where mine does, caps are junk and useless so I would get rid of that bc that could be the prob, where is your amp grounded?
