Raptorman Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Well all my boxes are 14" tall and my opening is 14 1/4" tall, soo I'm good on that part, but I really dont wanna fuck up my car with expanding foam since I won't be using th box I currently have in my car cause it's ported to the passenger side. I'm gonna use my old 4th order that I had before my current one. I'm guessing just use some gorilla tape cause I don't plan on keeping it for more than a few days, just wanna compare it to not being sealed off. Put down masking tape where the expanding foam will be, it works as a protective layer between the sealing walls and the car. Raptorman Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 If you put it between the walls of your trunk and the cardboard/mdf that you're using to seal off and put a layer of masking tape under where the foam may possibly go, it won't fuck it up at all if you want to take it out some day. Just make sure that all surfaces of your trunk that the foam would otherwise touch is covered with the tape. I got a pic. TylerParrish Posted September 1, 2012 Author Report Posted September 1, 2012 Ahhh thank you sir, box isn't as important to me since it's my shitty box (first time doing a 4th order) so it sounds pretty bad looking back on it now, but I'm gonna stick it in there and seal it off when I have some spare time and see how it compares to not being sealed off.
