kl0wn
You said you were going with a 4 channel, I thought? So you'll have 4 outputs on the amp, which means 2 6.5"s will go out 1 set of the outputs. The tweeters will be wired to their own channel. So all together you would have 2 6.5"s on one channel, another 2 6.5"s on another channel, then the 2 tweeters on their own channels. That is if I am understanding you correctly. 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
Tim Lam
damn this miscommunications lol. yes, you are correct about me using a 2 channel. the two front channels would be going to the supertweets. so thats 2 channels used. now the rear two channels i was going to bridge. so that was all 4 6.5" speakers would be getting more power. does that make sense? Katt
If you're using the 1100.4 You can do the same way me and a friend have it setup. Two 4 ohm speakers for channel 1, two 4 ohm speakers for channel two. One or two 4 ohm super tweeters channel three, and one or two 4 ohm tweets for channel four. We don't have it bridged, due to the fact of he wants a stereo setup, and not mono. wtf, i swear i read crescendo 1100.4 If you don't have an amp that is active, you will need a crossover so you don't play low frequencies into your tweets, and blow them. *06 330i - Sundern x12 - saz-3500* *91 Foxbody V1 S-Trim Notch*
kl0wn
I've never done it that way. I would just make it easier on myself with using the 2 channels separately 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
Tim Lam
hmmm i see. i was just trying to get the most power out of the 4 channel. but i guess channels 1 and 2 for each super tweets and channels 3 and 4 each getting a pair of 6.5" than the 6.5"s would be getting less power than the tweets... would that sound a bit overpowering on the high end? Skullz
I was under the impression you were going to use 2 pairs of 6.5's and a pair of tweeters, now if you are going to use 4 pairs then you will want to wire it up exactly as the picture you posted for a 4 ohm load to each side. Personally though you would be better off with two amps, one to power the 6.5s and a smaller 2 ch amp for just the tweeters. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2

Katt
Then do it like i said, lol. Power isn't always key in being loud. ( Helps but not always. ) *06 330i - Sundern x12 - saz-3500* *91 Foxbody V1 S-Trim Notch*
