ClassicsWithSQ Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 So when I did the math and on paper my box should have the right volume for my SA-10s but now that it's built and I remeasure it is .047 ft^3 too small is this going to make the box sound like crap also I made it from tight pack particle board (1/2") instead of MDF. Should I remake this box? or will I be alright?

Should I remake this box? or will I be alright? The 0.047 will not significantly change performance, using 1/2" particle board........... Just test it.
ClassicsWithSQ Posted September 4, 2012 Author Report Posted September 4, 2012 If I rebuild it can I use hard wood? Just wondering, why is it everyone uses MDF what are it's features that make it ideal for enclosures?
