I just realized ASUS's P8Z77 PRO board comes with a free 8GB (2x4GB) kit of high-quality G.Skill ARES 1600mhz RAM. That's an ABSURD combo for $208. If you're feeling that 16GB is what you need you can always pick up a matching 8GB kit of ARES RAM for $42. That's $250 for the motherboard and RAM as opposed to the $434 you had planned in the original build. That's $184 in savings. Grab a MSI GTX 670 Power Edition instead of the MSI TwinFrozr 680 and that's another $190. $374 is what you're saving now! A pair of 670's only requires a 700W PSU at max in case you add a second card later on so you can grab a stylish and quality unit like XFX's 750W PRO and save another $32.
