DD-1 loses signal when tuning Alpine MRD-M1005

Recommended Posts

Hi I have tuned a few of my friends amps but this one I have finally hit a problem. I figure its because of the digital display and no knobs. Does anyone know how to bypass it? When the headunits at its max undistorted volume the dd-1 has a signal with the 40hz. but once i get past .5v on the digital display on the amp it loses a signal! By the way this baby is hooked up to 2 12" kicker compvr aluminized in there kicker box.

Offtopic: Also could anyone explain why his audio system shuts off then on when its played at a slightly higher volume?

Just a small correction..

The amp is not "digital".

No such thing.
