TeejayBee
Back to body work During painting we had a few problems, We sprayed the car this past tuesday on the final layer of basecoat we got a fairly good amount of dirt so we held off on clear coating till wensday, once we got in wensday we wetsanded the dirt out and blended the spots, After spraying clear we hit two more problems. One was water splashed onto the car from the floor, and we were having pressure issues in the booth and had a fairly bad run happen after getting rid of the water marks in the 2nd picture and wet sanding the runs in first picture we needed to primer the spots to avoid maping ( body work lines showing through paint)

TeejayBee
we also re wet sanded the car on thursday , once friday hit we blocked down the primered spots and went ahead to laying a base coat down then clear Friday was a much better day but we had pressure issues at two spots and had slight runs from pressure picking up but thats where she sits as of friday , Monday the car will get some wetsanding done if i can get the door skins and bumpers painted in a respectable amount of time.
