dealing with ohms wiring door speakers

when you wire door speakers, say you have 8 ohm speakers, do you wire them at 4 or 16 ohms like with subwoofers or do they stay at 8 ohms?

I wired mine so they went from two 8 ohm speakers, with a final load of 4 ohms. So yes, if you have multiple speakers, the ohm load will change.

Yea it pretty much works like wiring multiple single voice coil subs. Use the12volt.com's sub wiring wizard, and choose your amount of speakers and the impedance of them, I believe the only options the12volt has for SVC speakers is 4 or 8 ohm, but it breaks it down pretty simple.
