Need help with an enclosure, ported, for a re audio xxx 12.... Its going in a 99 olds 88.... max dimensions 14" tall 32" long and 19 or 20" deep!!! want max spl but I dont think its gonna matter with this sub....please help

how much power, and what model amp,

coil config of sub,

elec system voltage at power level (if you know)

myself idd tune it to 37hz,30-35sq" of port, port and sub foward, sealed off in trunk,

i can recommend a net without power knowledge

Ok sir, ill be running a hifonics bxi 1610d, 1600X1@1 ohm... It will be in the trunk sub and port to the rear and its got a 3" 4 layer flat wound coil... electrical system i think ill be, or have to, upgrade the alt... and then run a deep cell in the trunk as well... Idk if ill have to use a deep cell yet or not ive ran the 1610d before with just the big 3 but dont wanna burn up the alt....

spl and rear/rear dont go hand in hand

if you want spl, youll need to face both to the front and seal it off from the trunk,

if you happy to lose some output the rear/ rear will work fine as long as the box doesnt completely cover or partially seal the rear from the cabin,

a can tell you now youll need to up grade the elec. system to hold 13v at 1600@1ohm

idd 0g from batt to trunk,

second dry cell or deep cycle in trunk (something designed for subs, not your stock batt)

good batt up front

I wont be sealing the trunk cuz i got kids and kids's stuff to tote along, and yes i plan on upgrading the alt.... I am running 4 gauge currently but I see what you mean about running zero to the deep cycle... I already have the big 3 upgrade... and the box wont cover the whole trunk there is a lip coming down from the top of the trunk the prohibitis it from going back all the way... that and the a small port has been cut into the rear firewall( backseat to trunk) where the rear armrest is, so its like a nice port already
