DylanBunch Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 Pretty soon i will be getting a box for my Fosgate T2 15. I was wondering if it would be a good idea or not to mount tweeters 6 inches or so on both sides of the sub in the sub box? Not sure if theyll rattle or not or if theyll sound distorted being right next to the suub or not. Just looking for your guys opinions! 2006 Ford Explorer 2 Team AA/Sundown 15s 6th order Ct Sounds 7k 4 PRV Mr500 8s Rockford p1000-2 Team Subsonic Lows
jeffrm Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 I wouldnt put them "in" the box. I would just make some trim panels for the sides and put them there. You can make it look like they are without them actually being in the box. 03 tahoe z71 4 death penalty 18s 2 ampere audio 3800s @ .5 each 18v 156.7 @ 35hz 158.5 @ 50hz
Wallaceman Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 You could also extend the face to the sides so that it looks like they are on the same face. Just be honest, it's always a work in progress with ever changing plans.
