Right now my wife's car has a 10'' Sony explod sub and a pioneer 760w 2 chan that puts out 325rms @ 2ohm bridged

I just Bought her an Xtant 10" D4 500rms sub. I gave $20 for it. http://www.xtant.com/archives/html/products/X10.cfm

I need a very cheap amp that will do ~500w @ 2ohm. It doesn't need to be name brand.

Her car is a 2003 Taurus without any electrical upgrades and is running an 8gauge power and 4gauge ground.

Thanks for any help

Just checked on her Pioneer 760 it says 380w @ 4ohm bridged. Not sure what it does at 2ohm bridged.

her pioneer amp cant handle 2 ohm bridged. only a VERY few 2 channels can handle that kind of load.

Well that is good info... My budget is right around 100 or less for this amp. She doesn't use it daily and it isn't put to a very high volume when she does. Her HU clips at 52 and she listens to it at 20 when she thinks she is bumping and I know it sounds like shit thats why I found her a better sub.

What does everyone think about MB Quart? Sonic has one for $80 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_33006_MB-Quart-FX1.400.html
