SWIFT Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 I was running a SAZ1500 off the stock alt for almost 2 years with no problem. But I did have 2 Redtops under the hood. Idle would dip 12.5ish at idle full tilt. Anything more you need a new alternator or more batteries. I do have a build log on here somewhere. I went from one 15 to two 18in Q's to now two 18in SP4's. Fixing to do three 18's in a wall. lol it never ends 2012 F250 Lariat 6.7, lifted on 22's and 35's 4 DSS Ethos 18's walled tuned low 2 Ampere Audio 7500.1's, Ampere 125.4 Rockford Pro Audio front stage 9 batteries, Mechman Elite 370 alt Team DSS, Team Ampere Audio 2014 Meca Mod 3 TN State champ / 3rd place Mod 3 World Finals
LiftedFord Posted September 13, 2012 Author Report Posted September 13, 2012 I may go that route until i can upgrade the electrical, i think 4 or 6 of the subs on 1500 watts will be decently loud in a ported box. And then add a bigger amp when i have the money to change the electrical. And i understand that, its cool though seeing a truck like that with a badass system. Its gonna be tough fitting mine behind the seat but i think i have it figured out. Good luck with your build!
