Quick fried amp question

hey so i have this Memphis PR1.1000 and the window in my truck apparently wasn't sealed all the way and after a night of rain...you guessed it. i didn't know it and the next thing my car was filled with smoke <_< .

anyways i pulled my amp out and pulled the cover off and the heat sink and found that it looks like 4 of the transistors had shorted and the 2 bigger ones had completely and cracked apart.

here's some pics of the damage and removing the bad ones.

and the bad transistors:

anyways, so i just ordered some new ones and hopefully i'll have them here in the next couple days but my question is:

when transistors short, is there usually anything else that goes bad on the amp? i've scoured the board over and over and haven't found any burned resistors or popped caps. if anyone knows anything about fixing amps, any input is greatly appreciated!

I would send the amp in to Db-r to at least get checked out.

He can tell you what you have to replace. Something could be very wrong and you not know it....

i've seen Dd-r mentioned on the forum before but don't know much about them or anything.

the thing is idk how much i wanna spend to bring this one from the dead. im just kind of looking for something to push this JL 12 i have so i can build a t-line for it and what not, just something to have fun with and keep me busy till i have the money for a bc2000 :P

figured $10 in transistors is worth the gamble.
