First the car.Just a reliable peppy bucket

first thing out the stupid stock head unit who ever designed that stupid thing should get their butt kicked.PITA because the hot cold flapper control has no slack and unless you have baby hands it very hard to disconnect.But done none the less.

next everything out for dampener, expansion foam, signal ,power and speaker wires

its gonna be a sealed off trunk with use of back seats

head unit

battery backups

mids and highs.yeah they are low rent .but something had to be sacrificed and it wasn't going to be power.I'll just replace them as they blow or what ever.

Thanks guys for the interest in my build. I know its not gonna be a huge 4 18 build but it will be a lot of glass and custom work. and Crandis I have already been keeping up on your build.

Got a little more done got the head unit wired up

ran into the issue where you change out the HU and the rear speakers don't work due to stock amp.so I deleted the factory harness and ran new speaker wires.figured while i had the speakers out might as well try a pair of the new ones.

they were only 29 bux a set and they sound pretty damn good for no interior in the car.

Nice alt. 250 at ~2000rmp and 200 at idle? I just have 220 amp singer alt. I wish it did that well at idle. I put a 3/4" false floor in which put max height at ~14.5" for total box if you're doing sub and port forward sealed off from trunk. I need to do some chopping away for bigger subs.

Sub placement is that's what I was looking at all day trying to figure out an attack plan.I am going to do the box first then fill floor.My plan is to push the face back to where the 6x8s are just behind the cross brace and that height is 18 1/2 then make a build out(a blow thru of sorts) to a finish panel and seal off the trunk completely.gonna be some real kung fu involved.

Got a little bit of progress done with the nice weather this last week first went about 16 cans of expansion foam 6 cans in each rear quarter panel between door and rear tire and up to ceiling.then filled all the channel voids and sealed off most of the rear deck minus one hole on each side they will be filled when all wire has been ran.

then I emptied a 36 square box in the cabin Ill get another box to fill the trunk

also got started on all the fiberglass work needing to be done first the rear deck speaker pods.

then got both a pillar tweeter pods ready for primer
