Jonesy33 Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 Will a level 4 10 with level 5 upgrades take 2k at 1 ohm daily? I've been running mine at 1k and I've gotten to used to it and want to get louder without buying a whole new set up. Quote
ChevyBoy95 Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 i would suggest upgrading subs. dont make a 1k rms sub try to sound like it is a 2k rms sub. the coil thermally can take it, along with the suspension, but i would personally go with a level 5 and get the motor force along with the soft parts to match. i dont think you will see a huge difference with the 5 upgrades in the 4 motor, noticeable, but you will just want more probably. I have thought about moving up to a level 5 12s but I have a single cab silverado. Blow throughs arnt an option. But I have thought about a console box but Im too picky and wouldnt want it just to be a box with subs. Quote
CJ18 Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 I would just upgrade to the XL. There is no need to go all the way to a Level 5. Quote
