Exhaust rattling from bass

Recommended Posts

So I can see now on some notes, my subs rattle the hell out of my exhaust. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it, I have a sheet left of dampner so if it's something I can throw that on it'd be awesome. I don't have mufflers, so I think the not having weight there might be the problem i'm just not exactly sure how to go about fixing it.

I have the same problem, except for me it's like the heat plate around the exhaust that rattles, and that thing frickin flails, it slaps the exhaust and is loud as all hell. Don't know what to do about it.

I can't hear a single rattle inside of the car.. only outside. I want it to sound clean as hell though, i've gotten up to this point with 0 rattles then I notice my exhaust. I don't like this

More rattles will come as you begin tweaking everything from all the lows. I gave up on the rattles for the most part in my car and just went louder lol.

i got the same issue on my vw golf hatchback. i had the subs going with the car off and reached up to touch the metal to stop it . i might just put some deadener in top of it. apparently that stuff can withstand heat pretty well
