pro-rabbit Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 It was metered usaci outlaw style. So yes, it was over a 137. We did not test sealed up or head rest yet. I'm sure when he swings by next week for a USACi CD we will get it back on the meter and actually get some tuning time put in on it.

pro-rabbit Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 Well, you have to keep in mind that it was not really turned up. It was set to his normal daily listening level only. That amp does a decent overall job, but it will really come alive once he gets it all setup with more port and better electrical. Honestly, I think on a "burp" outlaw with a bit of tuning it can do close to a mid 140 fairly easy(assuming the electrical could hold up). He has some very modest goals in mind for the system at an average listening level..so I think he will be pretty amazed at the actual output once it is actually turned up for the meter.

He is new, so it is a series of steps for him. Step one...seeing how it performs at his listening volume. Step two... going to tune it and turn it up for the meter. Step three... upgrade the amp/electrical and repeat steps lol

As I said though, the box came out nice and clean. Did you guys bolt it to the existing area where the seat had gone, or do something with 2X4s? No pics were shown of the box going in.
