Mlcantin Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 I didn't know whether to post this in general audio or not but everytime my bass hits the speedometer needle jumps erratically. Is this something that damages my car and needs immediate attention or is it not a big deal?

CDetty Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 Hahaha, first time i noticed that happening, i tripped out. Now i got some weird thing with my idle rpms dropping. Cars dont really like bass haha 1999 Honda Civic- RIP 2003 Acura RSX Type-S
Guest Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 rpm drops at idle when you're slamming because the alt is putting a bigger load on the engine. i dont suggest playing loud at idle with a stock electrical.
