Obivously I need a 12v power source.... I want to be able to run atleast 12 cd players off of it.... 1 cd player will have speaker input's to a speaker selector just to make it easy.... I am planning atleast 6 pair's of speaker's will do it. Now, The sub's/amp's will probably be also on the same cd player as the speaker just to make it easyier to demonstate and wire up. So, what power source would you recommened? How many amp's will be needed to keep up with the output of this sound board?

c.director Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 You'll need a nice power source for that much, I think stinger makes one, Computer Power supplies can also work. Get all the cd player/amps (cd player normally have around a 10 amp fuse) and add up the fuse ratings, that will give you a good idea of how many amps you will need from your power supply. EDIT: Or throw a couple of batteries with a good charger. Just depends on your needs.
