Digital Designs CB-9512 Questions & Suggestions

Well I have a few questions here.

Background: I have had an RE audio SXX15d2 for about 3 months now (first sub of any kind) in an enclosure built to specs, powered by a Hifonics HFi1000.1D, only after about a month did I realize I wanted to be louder. After some extensive research I came to the conclusion that I wanted one Digital Designs subwoofer. After scouring the web, I thought that would never happen with my budget, but lo and behold I came across a Digital Designs DD 9512 on craigslist for a smokin deal, now I must continuously mop up my drool. The box reads "October 4, 2011, 8" carbon fiber dust cap, composite cone, low impedence, extra stiff, CB-9512, and D1.5". Sub was new in box bought from a DD dealer that went out of business. I own a 2000 Jeep grand cherokee stock alt & bat

Question 1: Can this sub be ran on 0.7ohm?

Question 2: What type of motor does this have?

Question 3: what does the "CB" mean in "CB-9512"

Question 4: Besides cost, what are the pro/cons of installing this bad boy in replace of my RE?

Questions 5 & 6: What's the cost of dampening a hatch, and what's the best dampening material or make?

Question 7: Would a new setup (2000-3000wrms instead of 1000wrms) require a high power alt., a seperate battery, big three, or combination of these?

Let me know what everyone thinks, all opinions and info is appreciated.
