Input rca's on one amp are now trash and I can't test that anymore. SO. Even if 153 isn't where you wanted to be, it's still damn good in my book! I'll be running my 1500s the same way, strapped at 2Ω. I may or may not make it to any comps so I probably won't run .5Ω strapped. I might try gain matching at 1Ω though to see if it is louder. Where do you usually compete? So I'm out here from august through april. Rca cable got pulled from around the side of the amp. The RCA pins broke off in the amp. I got them out, but when they pulled from the side it created slop inside the plugs themselves so the input is never consistent with something plugged into it. A) for the fact they are NS spiders, and that the soft parts are very well used. taylorpro Posted February 24, 2013 Author Report Posted February 24, 2013 On a side note, Did some testing today. Was doing most testing at 2 ohm strapped. Found 4 tenths at that ohm load. Went to .5 strapped and couldnt get the same gain. Got it up to a 53.43. Rise is very low and amps can barely get a full burp off. To be honest I dont even know if they are. Also, I came to realize soon after that one of the hatch glass hinges is now stripped out so the glass was flopping around. Probably another reason why score was down a bit. I think with a charge, And a new hinge, it will do a 153.6 or so how it sits. When I get a new hinge, I have another thing or two to try with the amps, and then It's in the box.
