you are so damn slow man, still waiting for the results on the new box with a similar power like you had before haha

it'll be a while. no more amps. and the 500.1 i was destroyed in shipping. i have the AP in there now but that will likely the only thing I'll have in there for at least 2 weeks or so. Another thing is I just don't have the time. Spent the last day and a half driving 700+ miles back to school. It's ~30 degree's here and there is snow on the ground.

Beleive me man nobody is more anxious than I am. It's so friggen annoying and stressful to not even know what ballpark it sits in. Let alone actually having time to test and try to get it better. I'd be surprised If it was close the end of January by the time I have good amps, have them installed, and some baseline numbers.

Also, I'm now a proud member of Team XS Power! I also bought a brand new XS D6500 for under the hood of the explorer so I can go back to the stock battery tray and be Stock Class legal for IASCA this season. Stay Tuned!

Well, grew some balls and went out and worked on the truck in the parking garage in the 15* weather and got a little bit done before i froze. Last night I unhooked the rear battery, amp, and the positive runs from front to back I got under the truck and pulled all of the positive wire from underneath the truck since I'm going to be running inside the truck now. I also brought the rear distribution blocks inside, removed them from the board, and drilled a hole in the middle of each. They will now be mounted directly to the battery in the back to simplify the wiring.

Today, I removed the longer rear grounds, and replaced the front grounds with them; since they need to be longer now that the terminals are on top of the battery with the D6500 installed. The rear grounds needed to be made longer to reach the battery terminals anyway so this is what fueled this decision.
SO, as of now, the D6500 is in, the front grounds are done and installed. I have to make new rear grounds, run power wire inside the cab, and just wiring things up in the back. THEN I'll be DONE with wiring all together, things will be as optimal as can be, and changing things around will be simple
New front battery and Blocks (Temporarily using the hold down i made until i get a new battery tray and use the factory style hold down)

Rear Blocks modified to mount directly to the rear battery terminals. Just mocked up in this photo. Hopefully getting the rest of the wiring done tomorrow.
