Planning on ordering 1 12" FI SSD next week, just trying to figure out what to do about a box. I found this design and was planning on getting it made. Any input or suggestions on it would be great thanks.

more info!

what music do you listen to? what are you looking for in the box?

and have you tried throwing this design into torres or win isd to see how it performs with the SSD?

anyways just some suggestions. the design does look pretty solid though just from glancing at it. just make sure it's what you want!

Mostly rap but i like other stuff, im just looking for a good box for the sub.

this box is designed for a 12" ssd, 2.5 cubic feet @ 32hz.

I just posted to see if anyone had input on it so i know if thats what i should get or not.

well if it'd designed for an ssd and it's tuned to 32hz. that seems pretty perfect for what you're looking for.

looks like it has a good port area to breath and it should work pretty good!

if you're pushing 1000W rms to this thing i'd consider doing a double baffle on the box just to help rigidity.

That box is usually used in a trunk car so if you don't have that it may not be your best option, also 2.5 cubes will be ok for that sub unless you are sourcing above rated power. If you were to overdrive the sub by a large margin you are sure to have problems with it.

Yeah im gonna be using a Rockford fosgate 1000.1 bd, and yeah its gonna be used in a trunk.

The box will work, the amp can source above rated so keep that in mind. Set your amp's subsonic filter to 28Hz or so.
