BPacak Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Planning on ordering 1 12" FI SSD next week, just trying to figure out what to do about a box. I found this design and was planning on getting it made. Any input or suggestions on it would be great thanks.

BPacak Posted October 12, 2012 Author Report Posted October 12, 2012 Mostly rap but i like other stuff, im just looking for a good box for the sub. this box is designed for a 12" ssd, 2.5 cubic feet @ 32hz. I just posted to see if anyone had input on it so i know if thats what i should get or not.
revoracing247 Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 well if it'd designed for an ssd and it's tuned to 32hz. that seems pretty perfect for what you're looking for. looks like it has a good port area to breath and it should work pretty good! if you're pushing 1000W rms to this thing i'd consider doing a double baffle on the box just to help rigidity. ~ If it was easy, everybody would be doing it ~

That box is usually used in a trunk car so if you don't have that it may not be your best option, also 2.5 cubes will be ok for that sub unless you are sourcing above rated power. If you were to overdrive the sub by a large margin you are sure to have problems with it.
