I've got 6.27 cu ft of gross volume, but am playing around a lot with port area, and tuning. I know that these subs will be under powered; so i was wondering what would be a good NET volume for these subs in a single chambered box at that space. Here are some specs that Ive worked with on Torres, let me know which one would be better for my application or if you have any number tweaking suggestions lemme know: Note: the box is actually smaller than the actual space that I could use up, but I didn't feel like making two separate boxes since I have enough airspace anyways. Max dims: 16H x 32W x 26D Constant miscellaneous specs for each box: 3 common walls, .24 woofer displacement, 1 extra baffle at .75 thickness for all parts Box 1: Port height: 14.5, Port Width: 4.5, Port Length 35. Port bends port area range 50-67 in^2 Port Area: 65.25 in^2 Port Area Per Foot: 15.58 in^2 Net Volume: 4.19 ft^3 Tuned @ 30.91 hz Box 2: Port height: 14.5, Port Width 4, Port Length 21 Port does NOT bend Port Area range: 58-78 in^2 Port Area 58 in^2 Port Area Per Foot: 11.91 Net Volume: 4.87 ft^3 Tuned @ 33.10 hz Box3: Port Height 14.5, Port Width 5, Port Length 23 (Can be made up to 31 to lower tuning to 34hz but area is greater than the range) Port Bends Port Area Range: 54-73 in^2 Port Area: 72.50in^2 Port Area Per Foot: 15.98 in^2 Net Volume 4.54 ft^3 Tuned @ 36.37 hz Thanks for your input!

Jordan Guess Posted October 16, 2012 Author Report Posted October 16, 2012 been taking pics as ive been going along. ive got my Fat Mat in, all wires ran, AQ2000 mounted, stock head unit removed and ready for the aftermarket integration parts, and also blacked out the tail lights.
