You have a VCT2410? It's only 2 ohm stable when running in a 2 channel config. If the amp is bridged, it is only 4 ohm stable.

Are you planning on running the subs only on one channel or having the amp bridged? If bridged, wire like this

If one channel, wire like this

IMHO just bridge it and run the amp at 8 ohms. But I don't believe there is any 'best' way to wire it. You wire it so that it fits what your amp is capable of.

Use 12ga wire or thicker ;)

i'd probably wire it in stereo. i mean yeah its not the best way, but he's only gonna get like 600w total if he bridged it at 8 ohms.

if i wire my subs to be 2 ohm stable like in the diagram at the top of the page, it says run a wire to the hot on 1 sub and use the same wire and run it to the hot on the other sub and the same with the ground can i just run the hot wire to one channel on the amp even tho its running through both subs and run my other hot wire to another channel and do the same to the ground so im running 2 channels

i took 14 gague wire and cut me 2 pieces the same length and split the wire down the middle about half way i picked up one piece of wire and run it to the hot on one woofer and run the same piece just the other side of the wire to the other hot on my other woofer, i picked up my other piece of wire i cut and run it to the ground on one sub to the ground on the other and made two little jumper wires and run it to the hot and the grounf on one sub and did the other one like that too! that made it 2 ohm stable now i got 2 wires coming out of my box 1 hot and a ground can i plit the wires in half and run the hot wire that i got running through both subs to one channel and put my other hot wire on another channel and pick up my ground wire and spit it and run it to the ground on one channel then to the other lol i just dont want to mess anything up were i got wires running to the same sub and running 2 different channels
