Hm I dont understand how that will tie in...but I do see how it would work with the hood flipping forward...since it obviously cant flip normal with it against the windshield.

Seems like your extending the hood and intergrating a wiper cowl?? are you ony using one wiper?

thats kinda tha plan,,,,this is just another one of the "Parts" that will eventually make up the front clip...as mentioned earlyer in this thread....sooner or later i will make up the ....front 16 " or so......of the hood....and eventually the whole middle of the hood.... from that white tape....forward....

but this piece....makes up the rear of the hood....and the cowl.....as one piece...

for those of you who...havent been paying attention to shit.......when i actually do try to explain things....

this is the outer paramiter* of my FINAL piece taped out....where white tape...meets greentape.....is where i cut.....

the white tape is 4 layers thick.....this will "stamp" my ...."cutline" into the "part"

i had planned to bring the "twins" .....snug...into the glass

so basically.......foaming....shaping.....foiling....glassing.....between the twins....and the windshield..

and do some re-shaping of the cowl.......but now im not so sure if .....what i had in mid....is gonna work out...

nice progress timmy.. i never get sick of seeing the uniformity (word?) of your glassing. ive got it down pat.. i can definitely sling some glass... but god damn. those tight corners and shit... you make it look alot easier than it is. i even use your method, and still struggle with it here and there.

I taped down some of my 1/4" bendy stix.....to the tops of the scoops.....

only to try and get a idea of what the scoops might look like ,,,,,,,going all the way to the glass

this shot here....is the one thats really got me 2nd guessing...............bringing them all the way to the glass

so anyway....I dont know ,,,just yet if that idea is scrapped or not....but the plan was to bring the"twinz" all the way to the glass.....then in the backs of them....(where they meet the glass) i was gonna sing two .....2-1/16th gauges into each one....making 4 gauges total...visible through the windshield...

I thought it would look pretty badass from inside the car....and it would free up dash space... for later plans with the dash....Normally i wouldnt share that much info just yet.....but now i dont think ima do it.......so i share

thanks alot man.....in areas like this with lotts of corners....it takes me a little time to lay it all up.....always using the torn mat.....a keen eye....and playing the light.....wether it be sun or halogen light....try to keep it all even....using the glares from the light....on the wet resin....
