.....BUT...............the bad news is........progress will continue...but without pix....

this past weekend...both my air compressor and my digital camera took a shit on me....and i havnt got the money to replace either one of them right now...

and that..................my friends ............

is where this thread dies i guess,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,untill i can get a new camera....

dang.... you seem to have problems with your camera often... think maybe being around the glass/resin fumes has something to do with that?

Anyways, everytime I go to this thread I get inspired to just go ahead and buy my materials to get glassing myself to try my hand at it... hopefully I can soon. I guess since this won't be updated for a little while ill have to go back and look at all of your other tutorials and build myself up to actually trying it.

i havnt made alot of progress on the passenger side...why.....because the last time i parked the damn car....I got it to close to my Miter saw table...and then put it up on the stands...:rolleyes:I couldnt get the passenger door all the way open...

It needs to be open all the way so i can work on the front portion of the skirt...also the inner doorpanel and the aluminum body cladding on the door needs to come off..

i was able to do some work to the rear quarter tho...added the 2" to the top..

and shaped it into the door jam...

and the "part line" is taped out on the door.....for the door skin...

drivers side...really taken some shape...

still need to cut off the bottom of the skirt...at a 1.5"lip..

adding more layers of glass...in the low spots..getting closer...

took the nose off the car....so i can continue working on the "Buckets"for the headlights

never got pix. but i taped off the tops of the headlights and glassed this flange..into the nose....still need to do the bottoms and sides..

leaned back a lil bit...away from the mounting flange

chopped out more of the Urethane.....dead weight....shit in the way...

that piece in the middle sticking out....remember that used to go all the way across....over the steel bumper.....

after all the work to get everything straight on the driver side.....im thinkin it might be alot less work....to just re do the middle section..

Man, I know you been working on this for a long time, slowly but surely, but damn, it almost looks like a damn spaceship now!!
