1sickpuppy
I bought a pair of VVX8's and they are sitting on my dining room table. I would like them in the trunk of my car. Can some one please point me in the right direction as far as what net box volume I should have. How much port area I should have for optimum output for music? I don't want a one note wonder box. I'm going to give my subs 1100 watts so power is not an issue. Thanks for the input. naughtyca
post in car audio dot com, there are a lot of box builders there, i would suggest bhe from floridaspl dot com but we are in florida freight might be too much but BHE makes awesome boxes for Skar since they are authorized dealer of them and they build them like crazy for Skar
Slobalt7
What are the volume requirements? I have a pair of MA-8's in a 1cf box with a 15" long 2.5"x9.5" port and it hits well, has a steep drop off around 35htz and lower, my LPF is set to about 90htz and it hits well up to there. Port is tuned to 48htz. Yeah, it's slower than your bowel movements.
