The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at. I want big numbers because I want my daily to be loud you ARE aware that a 140db system can sound louder to the ear than a 145db system...right? so your entire thought process is invalid. why do you even care about numbers? its not like you're going to be driving around town with a $600 termlab hooked up to a laptop and measuring pressure levels. just, no.
adam6604 Posted October 26, 2012 Report Posted October 26, 2012 yeah i ran 2 15" RE SX woofers on 2400rms, i was tuned to 32hz, and did 141db on the TL sealed on the dash, but it sounded WAY louder on music then a 3kw system i listened to designed for burps, and he was doing 150.3...i prefer to SOUND loud to the ear on music then have a 10 second fart hitting 150db... in my opinion don't expect much over a 143-144 untill you put alot of experimenting and work into it. I just got rid of y nightshade and grabbed a fully loaded 18 btl n2. So much louder . It's only on 1200 watt Brutus. Until I get the bc3500

I don't even hve my headunit in yet.. And did a 142 off a 15 pushing a hifonics Brutus 1200.d. But with this 18 I'm hoping to get close of not 150 off music . which 15 i have that amp **actin bad like a kid at six flags**
