mttornquist Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 I came in here expecting a simple math question... This is a perfect example of why not to cheap on electrical, It limits your entire system. I'm glad to see you are taking advice and trying to fix it though!! Guest Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 Its a mono but has 2 outputs the sole reason why monoblock amplifiers have two sets of speaker terminals, is to make it easier when wiring multiple subwoofers. absolutely does not matter if you choose the left set, the right set, or you use all four. the outcome is the same.
Guest Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 So i have one sub at 2 ohms plugged in slot 1 and the other at 2 ohms plugged in slot 2 so it not bridged because it a mono not two channal. so you wired all +'s together and all -'s together, essentially. yes? if you have a multimeter, that would be best. just read the ohm load on the amp. any set of terminals will give you the same answer.
Banshee421 Posted October 20, 2012 Author Report Posted October 20, 2012 I get off at 3 will pull subs out a double check everything
Guest Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 may i ask who installed your system? just curious
Banshee421 Posted October 20, 2012 Author Report Posted October 20, 2012 Old db drag guy wired it. Local here from me. Why is there a fuse on my ground all so. I wired the subs to amp

poorfish88 Posted October 20, 2012 Report Posted October 20, 2012 The only time you should fuse the ground is when you don't know what your doing.
