I'm not here to offend anybody, people need to do what they are comfortable with. I've been building for 20 years and i have never went with factory specs. When you customize thats exactly what you do....you customize it to fit your need. i build to fit the area. I jammed 3 twelves and 4 eights in the trunk of my accord.....and a battery and two amps.........so its full. checki it out on mtx's website under SCOTT KOCH"S RIDE.....its on google too......if you build it they will come!!!!!!!!!! sbg Posted October 20, 2012 Report Share Posted October 20, 2012 Whenever you are under sizing an enclosure it's recommended to run a BUNCH of power to compensate, especially on that sub. It's gonna laugh at 1000W. If you sent it 2000-2500, them that's a different story.
