Of course 2000 on either should be louder but you cant go wrong either way.If you plan on getting on the TL and you want numbers I can tell you that its going to take time and multiple ports and maybe boxes to get the most out of it. Now if you just want to WANG as the youngins say then build it with the 2000rms 3 and 6 and beat all day cause those subs can take that clean all day

Port placement in your vehicle I really dont know about. This where testing will come into play. i do know that most big open cabins like SUV's usually have the most success with port to the rear and subs up.With you trying a 4th I dont know. If your only doing one sub then i would just build a normal bass reflex enclosure tuned to around 35hz for daily and a little higher for SPL.

if you look at cj f 150 build page 10 there is a 4th order for 2 12s exactly like i want my for my 18 if it helps any

Yeah there's not many who will offer free help.4th orders aren't hard at all. The key is to build it with a removable port so you can play around with the tuning. I will do my best but Im nowhere near the best. Im sure others will chime in and give their inputs.I will check out CJ's box now

Yeah same here when I was looking for someone to design one.Most of them are busy with bigger designs and some just think its a waste helping others.Now I can tell you that CJ, Ray and Nic Watts helped me with my final numbers. They all gave similar numbers but the port sizes where all different.Which in the end I had to go through a couple ports for testing anyways and ended up with 144^3in of port area. So I threw this one together real quick no bracing or anything special.Just to give you a look at what it would look like. Its 7.88 on the ported side after displacement and 3.69 on the sealed side. For the port I did 12Hx10Wx10L which would give you a tuning of 46.43. Again the port can be adjusted but you kinda want to tune higher than a normal ported box because the sealed side will make the lower notes and the ported side picks up the higher frequencies. So this is a good start and I will post screen shots of the Calc here in a sec also

Here are the Calc shots. Hopefully others will chime in with their inputs and we can adjust from there. I can tell you that with my 4th order I changed numbers up like 10 times before I had anything final LoL.
