cmw5e
okay im still stuck on my box. im doing a 1.5 cubic foot box for a single type r 12". its going behind the seat of a single cab truck so thats why ive chosen to do the aero. my depth on the box is going to be 9 inches so that makes my cuts 7.5 inches. i wanted to get the 4" precision port but the outside diameter of it is 7 1/4 so thats just cutting it too close seems like . so could i just get a regular 4" pvc pipe and maybe flare the inside and smooth mount the regular piece firing out the side? any help would be great here

cmw5e
a couple years ago i made a box similar to what im doing now. circular port for 1 12" but i used only a 3" piece of pvc and used some terrible calculator so im sire the tuning was terrible but it still sounded pretty decent. did you do any kind of bracing to the pvc?
