Colin - STAPUFT Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 These require HUGE enclosures if memory serves. But biggest of all- if I am not mistaken, these can't be used in competition anyway as they are not piston driven subwoofers. SQ and Infrasonics? Yes- good stuff, but not for SPL purposes. 12 - 12"s in the STAY PUFT 1989 Chevy Astro Build & Comment Log Un-Interrupted Build LogYouTube Channel Chevy Trailblazer 5.1 Dolby Digital DTS Install You have a beard of a mysterious sea captain. Truconcept Posted October 29, 2012 Author Report Posted October 29, 2012 i wonder how much a SMD build in my rv would cost im not sure on the enclosure specs 4 the Eminent Tech TRW 17 **actin bad like a kid at six flags**
Truconcept Posted October 29, 2012 Author Report Posted October 29, 2012 in this measurement graph, the TRW-17 can output more than 95dB SPL from 20Hz down to less than 1Hz Because the effective radiating area is so large, the TRW-17 also requires a huge backwave chamber, which is typically an entire room, attic, or basement (or dumptruck!) **actin bad like a kid at six flags**
