Why would that matter? jason2000ls Posted October 30, 2012 Author Report Posted October 30, 2012 2.9 ohms each voice coil. all the tec department @ jl audio could tell me was "something in the amplifiers circut" these amps have never appeared to be working hard. the heat sinks dont even get warm in either of these situations. im so lost.

tank03hoe Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 check double check and tripple check youre install from the speakers down to all youre 0/1 ive fried amps in my day but if it wasent playing full tilt it was install errori learned quickly to tripple check everything befor power up all the amps you listed seem like they would b great amps and the subs arent that hard to movehad a teammate that had a set they worked good for a while till he accidently threw 11k at them try seriesing the speakers first on youre next amp american bass 1100.1 2 hertz hdp4 m&h amps hertz xls audison voice mids and highs 4 fi hybrid subs 1 xs power g31 batt and 6 banks of maxwell caps big 3 mechman 270 singer 350 and another singer 300 amp alts 7 runs of 4/0 TEAM bass drop meca s4 2011 153.7 db at headrest 4 15s
