hey guys, just a quick question.

so every single system i've ever had, has had feed back or alt whine in the sub and honestly im getting really sick of it. the last couple installs i've done when i've changed rides and what not i've tried to make really good flippin grounds and still i have the dreaded alt whine :/ and it seems like all my friends just slap their systems in and have gotten no feed back from anything. (it sucks)

anyways, i've just been thinking and noticed for all my installs i've always used the same old pioneer hu i got with my first subs i bought (craigslist)

so i was wondering, can head units cause alt whine and feed back in the subs?

thanks!

I think you have a bit of truck stuck in your mud bro

I've slapped mine in over a period of like 4 or 5 months! Haha

Anyways, when you're back up here for Christmas, I'll let you try out my Sony head unit. It's kind of a ways away though...

hu can definately put whine noise in your system, specially pioneers.

try grounding your rca´s or change your hu. i´m almost certain thats your problem

i´ve heard this issue happens to a lot of pioneers, but its a really simple fix. usually.

in the worst case its a pico fuse i believe.

mine got fixed just grounding the rcas
