Problem with engine sound from the speakers.

I have rca rockford. but I think the speakers may be in contact with the chassis of the vehicle. So I could be causing the engine sound from the speakers.

i have

T2652-s

...have you checked to see if the speakers are touching the chassis?

are the power and rca wires on opposite ends of the vehicle?

do you have a pioneer headunit?

yes i have a pioneer avh-p4450bt i see a rear speaker is in the touch chassis, outputs may be damaged?

and are RCA cables together to 12v.

how I can fix that

I have the same problem too. . .but I'm pretty sure I have a bad ground somewhere. . .don't have the time to look for it.

I had the same problem , does the speakers make the noise with the system off ?

i have a pioneer head unit and i get noise from the sub mainly and i've got a good ground and everything. for me it's the HU im pretty sure is making the noise and only way to get rid of it is ground the rca or get a new HU. i've heard pioneer HU's have this problems more then others.

might not be your problem but just thought it'd be useful info!

cheap easy way to fix that is try one of these they do wonders if you dont feel like re wireing

if i was planning on keeping the deck i would but i have a new one from a friend lined up to go in and it's a lot newer and you can play music off a flash drive.

and tell me if im wrong but all the basically is, is a little box that has a wire connected to both grounds on the rca's so that you can ground it yourself?
