does this aero port design work?

so i just discovered a 20 foot 10" pvc pipe layin out in the field by my house n was thinking.... how sweet would it be to have an 18" sub with a 10" aero port right next to it sealed at the trunk.

so my real question is would this design work.

only 6" from the port to the backwall? how will it breath ?

  • Subwoofer Enclosure: 9.1cubes @ 32hz - brutal.
  • Mids & Highs Amp: CT125.4
  • Active Components:
    • Mids RE XXX 6.5c
    • Highs - 3 RE XXX tweeters per side(A pillar)
  • Noise Control: Damplifier Pro all over the cab.

how much space should i put between the back wall and port then?

10 inches from back wall now 3 layers in front + flush mount.
