Definitely get it my friend has the same one and you can still get a remote start I was just at Sound Solutionz and they were installing a remote start on a manual so that is not out of the question. But overall that is a very good alarm.

is that about what he paid for it?

and is that about the range he gets on it

also is it pretty accurate like it will alert you every time on the remote

Thats a typical price for it..

Chain stores usually steer away from manual remote starts because they dont want to deal with clutch bi-passes and liability

I bought my alarm for my dad's truck online and had it installed at a buddys shop :)

ya that would be the other option..

what is a good alarm with the same features to buy online??

i dont want a remote start

and what am i gonna expect to pay for install at a shop??

Most shops are going to steer away from manuals... not just chain stores.

Our shop doesn't do them, and I can't think of one that does(I know most of the shops in the tri-cities around here). And being michigan we probably do a few more remote starts around here, than say like cali.
