Old School hifonics Vii Anybody know about these ?

I have Odin 150rms Vulcan 100 rms and zeus 600 rns with calypso three way x over. Im interested in knowledgeable opinions of how these amps hold up to todays current models. Would the Odin and Vulcan be ok to power Focal 165 v30's ?

all hifonics vi-viii was awesome, best of the best back then. They are powerful and clean sounding. I think the zeus is too powerful for those and the vulcan isnt powerful enough. The thor would have been perfect.

They need 100 rms from what i understand and the Odin is rated at 150 . I ran it to some oz comp back n the and it did the job. I was a little worried these amps wouldnt give me clean enough sound for the money Im spending on the Focals

Yeah you are right man, i was looking at peak. And thats per side. Should be perfect then.

Still got my zeus! These are some of the best amps out there. If they work those amps put out on average at least 25% more wattage than rated. You will be powering those mids with more than enough juice. Leave the Zeus to the subs.
