building a ported box for the first time

also, i was wondering...should i be adding any 45* corners anywhere in there to help "bounce" the sound/air towards the port?

does anyone think they could do one of the sketch up things for me? or tell me what it is and how to do it? i tried using google sketch up or whatever that program is but i couldnt figure out how to do it...

aight guys, thanks for all the help so far. these are the plans i drew up in case anyone was curious. i think imma start working on building the box today and ill post pictures when im done.

so you know, port length is measured down the center of the port.

edit: wow...i resized that to be way smaller...idk why it stayed huge...

second edit: i measured what i drew down the middle and it actually was already measured right. but i cant figure out how to factor in the "end correction" or something like that...

Yes, the 23" is through the center like your sketch ^^^.

Your first port length is 3/4" too long. It should be 14".

Take your 17.5" inside box depth and subtract the 3.5" port width...it's 14".

damn, you actually looked at those measurements close! haha it wasnt till i was trying to measure down the center that i noticed i had made that mistake. thanks for pointing it out though! but so does everything look okay to start building then?
