SlamminBeats Posted November 15, 2012 Report Share Posted November 15, 2012 it wasnt that loud, i switched to 38-39 and that thing was just a horse for 1 18 i lost some low end but screw 20hz. Build it. @ear2ear- Doesn't need to bend, you add half the width from the end of the port wall to the back wall, and the distance from the midline of the port to the outer edge of the port wall. Technically, the port does bend, 3/4" in each direction. Really? I was always told out the triangle, but that's if there's bends. Good, I didn't want it there. Technically, the port does bend, 3/4" in each direction. No the sketchup is not a generalization. There would be 2.5 inches left on either side so I couldn't put any bends in it. I hope that explains it. But what is the radius of the kerfed port opening? The number I see kicked around is to figure 1/2 of the radius for your port length, which means it is effectively shorter. What radius are you using?
