depends if the dyna lowers or raises your res frequency(if your going all out spl)

there are some other factors, but Im not entirlly sure what they are...Ill let the guys in the know answer that

all dynamat, second skin and other companies. its all a mass loader, when applied it stops the panels from vibrating and makin the sound resonating awful. It can reduce roadnoise and such. but overkill help the noise a lot from second skin on top of deading.  id type more but i am confusing myself right now. i'll come back later and help more

acctually, you can use that stuff you put on the inside of roofs(not sure what you call it)

It looks just like deadner(siler one side, clack and sticky on the other)

it costs half as much as dyna and works just as good, sticks better than dyna too

imo its not all the same, i used to use peel and seal on all my trunks and doors, seriously i dont think i'll ever use another asphault based deadener again.

The roofing stuff is called Peel-N-Seel and its Asphalt base. You will regret using it in the summer and winter. When really hot it melts off and leaves doodoo on the panel. and when cold it contracts and comes off. Tempreture is the biggest issue on deading 2nd is performance IMO. Second Skin seems to be the best of all. and SS is priced reasonably. Dynamat is too pricey in my books.

if u must use peel-n-seel buy a gallon of sprectrum from SS and go over the peel-n-seel with it so the peel-n-seel freezes and won't melt ever.
