Jared Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 Alright, I currently have 2 Audioque SD2.5 15's on an audiopipe 1800.1D. My electrical problems stopped me from from being able to push these subs the way i'd like, don't get me wrong, they hit. But anyways. I have the chance to snag a Memphis Mojo 4kw for a dirt cheap price. I'm buying it. Now, My question is this. Would it be better to build a box to exact specifications and run these subs at 4Ohm on the memphis amp, or splurge and get the HDC4 15's and put them down to 1Ohm on the memphis amp? Also, My electric is as follows. 0G everything, minus big 3, a 15 farad hybrid cap, and I also have a small shuriken battery, I'm not sure of the size. My stock alternator is 150AMP, (02 GMC Envoy). Which would you suggest? As far as electrical goes, what would you suggest as to what I should upgrade to get the best out of the memphis amp? Thanks ahead, I should be on for a while if I forgot something to help you help me please let me know. thanks.

Guest Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 biggest HO alt you can find. probably two group 31 batteries for the trunk. comparable agm under the hood. 0 gauge everywhere.

Jared Posted November 21, 2012 Author Report Posted November 21, 2012 Money isn't a very big deal. But what do you think about sub choice? The sdc2.5s @4 or the hdc4s @1ohm?
