I was looking at getting that when I built my machine but $300 was too much to cough up for a case for me at the time. If I had Chicken's budget though... All the people suggesting stuff are starting to piss ME off and it's not even my computer. The parts he picked out are phenomenal and you can nit-pick all day but in reality this is damn near the fastest desktop money can buy right now. Yeah, there's a newer Intel processor. Yeah, quad 680's beat dual 690's in benchmarks. Yeah, there's faster RAM out there. But there's absolutely nothing wrong with what was picked out and once it's all under water and overclocked there's only going to be a handful of rigs on the planet that can compete with it. I'd pay money to see 4 things in real life: Steve's Tahoe Chicken's Hoopty This fucking badass computer N8's completed build log (with comments and suggestions from users) YES. I don't know the man, but given his name and the fact that he goes by it I have a pretty good idea about what he does/used to do. He owns a Casino. Nothing illegal here. meade916 Posted November 29, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 29, 2012 OK, i changed my mind on the monitors....the Dell Ultrasharp 30's have higher resolution but to me, on the desk, looked TOO DAMN SMALL. Also, they have huge black bezels and are thick, like the first flatscreens that came out like 10yrs ago. Not only that but i am reading its a little slow for video gaming. I had them on the cart but at the last minute i couldn't take it. I gave up on them and bought 3 Samsung 40" LED tv's. They are also 3D. I think a few games might be able to go 3D on all three screens but even if they don't, being surrounded by 3 40" screens is almost its own "3D".
